Chi, cosa resisterà mai a tempestas e a vetustas? Su Cic. Arat. fr. 2

This paper maintains the hypothesis that is mundus the enigmatic reference of the initial quem of Cic. Arat. fr. 2, 1; on the whole, it is worth the support of various philosophical witnesses related to the indestructibility of the world. Among them two loci of the same Cicero (Ac. 2, 119 and Nat. deor. 1, 100), that are useful to detect the first the Aristotelian matrix of the theory of the immortality of the world, the second the controversy with Lucretius on this issue.

Questo articolo sostiene l’ipotesi che sia mundus l’enigmatico referente del quem iniziale di Cic. Arat. fr. 2, 1; su tutto, giova il supporto di vari testimoni filosofici relativi all’indistruttibilità del mondo, tra i quali due luoghi dello stesso Cicerone (Ac. 2, 119 e Nat. deor. 1, 100), utili a rilevare il primo la matrice aristotelica della teoria dell’immortalità del mondo, il secondo la polemica con Lucrezio su questa tematica.
